What you'll do

As a Senior Golang Software Engineer, you'll design and build scalable, high-performance applications while working closely with other experienced engineers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
• Build and enhance cloud-native applications running on Kubernetes.
• Develop clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Create reliable unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Contribute to software architecture, scalability, performance and security.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Work with modern development tooling including Docker, Helm, Skaffold and GitHub Actions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuously improve development standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and fellow engineers in an Agile environment.

Required qualifications

• Master's degree (MSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or another relevant technical discipline.
• Several years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong commercial experience with Golang.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience building applications on Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of Docker and containerised application development.
• Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Helm, Skaffold and modern CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and secure software development.

Nice to have

• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience working with distributed systems or microservices architectures.
