Android Developer (Kotlin) IoT Platform Dordrecht

As an Android Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining a modern Android application that communicates with IoT devices. You will work in a cross-functional Scrum team and contribute to architecture, performance, usability, and the implementation of new features.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a large-scale Android application using Kotlin.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose.
• Develop integrations with IoT devices and connected hardware.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, embedded engineers, QA, and UX designers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinements, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to architectural and technical improvements.

Your Profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong experience with Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency with Android Studio.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile development teams.
• Experience with IoT, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or connected devices is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English
