Job description
What you’ll be doing as a Senior DevOps Engineer:
You will assume responsibility for all cloud development endeavors. Given our transition from a scale-up to a product-led organization, this role calls for "Infrastructure as Code," utilizing your Kubernetes and Terraform skills as well as your knowledge of data security and data protection to maximize your impact. If you enjoy going cloud-native, this position is perfect for you. As a DevOps Engineer, you will report to the Lead DevOps Engineer and CTO, working closely with a small team of three other professionals in the infrastructure block. We're a small team, but we aim to become an elite group that relies on automation rather than manual work by an army of system administrators. Our size allows us to avoid bureaucracy, plan efficiently, and respond effectively to events.
You will also focus as DevOps engineer as:
- Strategic Planning: Contributing to planning sessions to align the platform's technical direction with the company’s goals.
- Innovation: Encouraging team innovation by introducing new ideas and technologies.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving challenges that could impact the platform’s performance.
Job Requirements
- You have experience with peers and can deal with different stakeholders
- Strong experience in Kubernetes and Gitlab and Docker
- You can set a system from scratch and embrace it
- You are passionate and pragmatic problem-solver.
- You have experience in big environments.
